I hate to be the bearer of bad news…

But, I want you to be equipped with the information you need to succeed in today’s job market.

Here’s the bad news:

We can no longer expect one static resume to do all the work to land us interviews 😳

With all the technological changes of even the last year, including the rapid growth of AI, a single resume cannot be all things to all people.

That doesn’t mean you need multiple resumes.

This means you should have a master resume, with a layout and design that makes it easy to customize for each position you want to pursue.

This is not a popular statement and I get it.

It’s time-consuming to do this.

Which is why most applicants don’t do it.

The good news is that professionals who customize have a much better chance of getting through the ATS and other screening phases.

➜ The magic starts with being clear on the type of role you want

➜ Then create a master resume that covers the results and skills that are a match for the role

➜ Add in a resume design that showcases the above in the top tier of your resume

➜ Plus use an ATS-friendly template and layout that makes it easy to customize

This is part of how you get more interviews.

You must know how to customize your resume and do it fast so you don’t waste time when pursuing multiple opportunities.

And yes, you still need a customized resume when you access an opportunity through back channels such as your network.

If you want to make it easier on yourself and learn to create a master resume that simplifies this entire process…
