Good to great?

Have you ever read the book: Good to Great by Jim Collins?

It’s all about “why some companies make the leap and others don’t” – by the way, that’s the exact tagline for the book title, which sums it up perfectly.

This topic also perfectly applies to some situations mid to late-career professionals find themselves in…

They feel like they are:

➜ In a “good” place when it comes to their career
➜ Earning a great living
➜ Fortunate to have built the career and lifestyle they have

Yet, something feels off 😳

That something is usually a feeling… most commonly, they no longer feel fulfilled at work.

Part of them feels guilty for even thinking this, let alone saying it out loud.

But it’s a gnawing feeling that often lingers, for months or even years!

I deeply relate to it.

That gnawing feeling is exactly what drove me to the career and business I have now and love so much.

The problem is that GOOD can get in the way of GREAT.

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with “good”. It never means that you have to change anything.

But when good starts to feel dreadful and tough to motivate yourself to get to work every day, it may be time to step out of your comfort zone and explore…

What could GREAT look like for you?

And, are you even open to exploring it?

It’s a great place to start pondering 🤔

Going from good to great can make your last 5-10+ years in the workforce deeply fulfilling.

It’s never too late to aim for greatness in your career.

If you feel unfulfilled, it might be time for a change.

You deserve a career that brings you both financial security and joy 🤩
