I see smart people get stuck here

You can be incredibly good at what you do… and still have absolutely no idea how to get from where you are now to the right next role.

I see it all the time.

Managers. Senior Managers. Directors. VPs. Executives. People who’ve spent 10, 15, 20+ years building successful careers.

They’re used to solving complicated problems.

They’re resourceful. Capable. Smart.

So when it comes to their own career, they assume they should be able to figure this out too.

And that’s often where they get stuck.

Maybe you’re in a role right now, but you know you’re ready for something different and aren’t sure how to make the move.

Maybe you’re in transition and know exactly what you want, but you’re struggling to get traction.

Maybe you’re getting interviews, but not making it to the offer.

Or maybe you’ve been trying a little bit of everything: rewriting your resume, tweaking LinkedIn, applying to roles, networking, talking to recruiters, asking Claude or ChatGPT…

and you still can’t quite figure out what’s not working.

I heard someone say something recently that stopped me in my tracks:

“You can’t read the label from inside the jar.”

And I immediately thought about how true that is when it comes to your job search.

When you’re in the middle of trying to land your next role, it’s incredibly difficult to see your situation objectively.

You’re working with a sample size of one: your own experience.

You may think the problem is your resume when it’s actually your positioning.

You may think you need to apply to more jobs when your target isn’t clear enough.

You may think you need to network more when the real issue is how you’re communicating your value.

You may assume you were simply beaten by a stronger candidate when there’s actually a pattern in how you’re interviewing.

You don’t know what you can’t see.

And if you misdiagnose the problem, you can spend months working very hard on things that were never going to fix it.

At a certain point, “I’ll figure it out” stops being a strategy.

Getting outside help isn’t a reflection of how capable you are.

Sometimes it’s simply the fastest way to see what you can’t see from inside the jar, understand what actually needs to change, and build the right strategy to get where you want to go.

If you’re serious about landing the right next role and you’ve reached the point where you’re ready for expert support, let’s talk.

We’ll talk about where you are now, where you want to go, what you’ve already tried, and whether the kind of support we provide is the right fit to help you get there.

I only open a small number of strategy call spots each week, so if you’ve been thinking about getting help, I’d encourage you to grab one while there’s availability.
