I didn’t want to bother anyone

I used to avoid networking.

It felt awkward. Uncomfortable.

I didn’t want to reach out to people and ask for help.

“They’re busy.”
“Why would they talk to me?”
“I don’t want to impose.”

Sound familiar?

That mindset kept me stuck.

And the truth is, I wasn’t alone.

Many of my clients feel the same way when we start working together.

But here’s what changed everything for me:

I finally did it.

I pushed through the discomfort.

And what I found was…

People were actually willing to help.

They wanted to connect.

Once I started having those conversations,

I gained momentum.

I found hidden opportunities.

And I stopped feeling so alone in the process.

Networking isn’t about asking for favours. It’s about building relationships.

And when you learn how to do it right, it absolutely works.

If you’ve been avoiding outreach, I get it.

But if your strategy isn’t moving you forward, maybe it’s time to try something that will.

P.S. After a few quiet years on YouTube, I’ve relaunched my channel! Every week I’ll be sharing longer-form strategies to help you get hired faster. Unlike my thousands of followers on Instagram and LinkedIn, my YouTube community is still small. So if you subscribe now, you’ll be one of the first insiders as it grows.
